Biography:
Coach Wright has been teaching and coaching at Marshfield High School since 2014. He has been a wrestling assistant coach under Matt Holt since they both arrived at Marshfield. Coach Wright attended Ozark High School and was a three sport athlete competing in wrestling, football and track. He played college football for two seasons at Central Methodist University and then graduated from Drury University. During the fall, he also coaches wide receivers and is the offensive coordinator for the JV football team.
Coach Wright is married to Abbie Wright, who is a second grade teacher at Marshfield, and has two kids Barrett and Finlee. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family and friends. His main hobbies are fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, watching sports and reading. He graduated from Drury University, and is working on his masters in education from Missouri State University.
Biography:
This is my first year working at Marshfield High School and I am excited to be working in the same great community where I live. This is my 4th year teaching here in Missouri, and I completed 7 years of teaching experience in Wisconsin. I have 10 years coaching experience made up of boys/girls track, girls basketball, boys wrestling, boys off season football, girls volleyball and boys/girls cross country.
I am currently finishing and will graduate in December with a Masters in Special Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. When not at school I love to spend time with my two dogs, Harley and Kirby, being outside, hunting, fishing, camping, reading, watching movies and spending time with my family.
