The Marshfield boys wrestling team broke even in duals competition last week, taking victories against Class 4 opponents Ozark and Waynesville at home on Tuesday before traveling to Monett on Thursday and falling short against the host team and Neosho.
In Tuesday’s duals, the Jays started by taking on Waynesville, ultimately winning 45-24 against last year’s Ozark Conference Champions.
“Brady Brooks got a big win at 132 and it just built from there,” said Jays head wrestling coach Matt Holt.
In the final dual of the night, Marshfield faced the Class 4, District 3 Champion Ozark squad and emerged victorious with final scores 48-34.
